Our Story

Two best friends, Paul and Matt, from a small town no one has heard of, reunited in Kamloops, BC, to form Canadian Log Furniture in the summer of 2023.  Bringing our craftsmanship skills together along with a fond respect for nature and sustainability, we offer furniture and décor that provides both luxury and peace of mind.

From the forest to your floor, we do everything by hand with care and intent.  Harvesting dead standing Spruce, Pine, and Fir trees from local beetle kill and wildfire areas aids in forest restoration while giving a second chance to otherwise lost trees to be used for generations to come.  Since the wood has already been dried by wildfire or the environment, there is no kiln-drying process, which further reduces the ecological impact of our furniture.

Sustainability is paramount in today's world, and that's why we go the extra mile during the shipping and crating process.  We repair and repurpose used pallets from local businesses to build custom crates for all our freight orders, while using waste carboard from big box stores to protect items during shipment.  This means over 90% of the packaging is 100% upcycled, compostable, and recyclable!

When you buy from us, you buy our hard work and attention to detail.  We will venture through the forest until we find the perfect logs for your project.  Peeling, sculpting, and sanding each piece by hand to fit the design of each creation.  Every item is built to last a life-time, backed by a 10 year warranty, with satisfaction guaranteed.
